Social Worker
Luke Slaboda was raised in Athens, GA, and attended the University of Georgia for both his undergraduate and graduate social work degrees. Luke’s primary passion is advocacy for focused improvement in educational equity, quality, and opportunity for underserved populations. His hope is to use my community engagement and school social work experience to inform and influence public education legislative reform on a broad scale.
Luke relocated to Brooklyn, NY in 2021. In addition to working with kids, he loves having deep conversations on comedy, adventuring on photography excursions, and being among mountains, trees, and rivers.
