TEACHER
Shaq Ruiz joined the Brilla Veritas Elementary team in 2022 as a 4th-grade teacher. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Science with a concentration in Youth and Family Development from Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY, and a Master’s Degree in Childhood Education and Special Education from Touro University in New York City. Originally from The Bronx, NY, he loves the Denver Nuggets basketball team. With his wife, he fosters cats.
