TEACHER
Desiree Aviles joined the Brilla team as a Kindergarten Teacher in 2020 at Brilla Caritas. She graduated from Lehman College, where she received her Bachelor Of Arts in Psychology and Early Childhood Education. Ms. Aviles has been servicing schools around her community of Mott Haven in the South Bronx for the past 8 years, teaching children from K-2. Ms. Aviles enjoys teaching students in the same community where she grew up – sharing the same memories and experiences. When not in the classroom, she spends her time being a bridal makeup artist, making memories with family and friends, traveling, and enjoying all things Disney!
