TEACHER
Delia Cruz joined the Brilla Veritas team as a teacher in 2020. She graduated from Stony Brook University in 2019, where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology with a concentration in Sociology and a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies. She became a teaching assistant in her sophomore year of college and discovered a passion for education that led her to pursue a role in the field. She spent her last semester as a Teach For America Campus Ambassador and joined the TFA New York Corps that same year. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in teaching. Born and raised in the Bronx, Ms. Cruz enjoys reading, writing, dancing, baking, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.
