Sr. Director of Talent & Recruitment
Ruby Amezquita is Sr. Director of Talent & Recruitment. In this role, she directs the talent team to ensure that the Brilla Public Charter Schools attracts and retains high-quality, mission-aligned talent year after year. Prior to joining the Seton team, Ruby served as a third-grade teacher at Santa Cruz Catholic School through ACE (Alliance for Catholic Education). She was a finalist for the Council on American Private Education Teacher of the Year Award in 2014. Ruby later worked in admissions and development for the Partnership Schools Network, where she served on the school team that hosted His Holiness, Pope Francis. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, Portuguese, and Latino Studies, and a Master of Arts degree in Elementary Education from the University of Notre Dame. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, two dogs (Coco and Sonny), and cheering on her beloved Irish.
