El Camino Program Leader, BCPE
David Mata currently serves as a program leader for El Camino. In this role, he supports and leads the Seton Teaching Fellows in their instructional and professional development. Prior to this role, David served as a Seton Teaching Fellow in cohort eight. Born and raised in North Platte, Nebraska, David is the oldest of three boys. David is a University of Nebraska at Omaha graduate with a degree in economics. After graduating, he immediately felt the drive to work for Catholic education and loved Seton’s mission. David enjoys playing soccer, reading, writing poetry, playing chess, listening to R&B music, and watching the Denver Broncos in his free time.
