Instructional Specialist, Character Formation
Andrew Ketchum is the Instructional Specialist in Character Formation for the Seton Team. He originally joined the Seton team as Director of Character initiatives in 2022. Before that, Andrew served as the Character Initiatives Lead at Brilla College Prep Elementary School. He graduated from Fordham University in 2009, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. After Fordham, Andrew participated in the Lasallian Volunteers program, where he served as a Middle School Social Studies teacher in Tulsa, OK before returning to New York to pursue a Masters of Arts in Secondary Social Studies Education at Columbia University Teachers College. Andrew then spent ten years at Cristo Rey Brooklyn High School, serving in a number of different roles connected with students’ social-emotional development and overseeing programs connected with school culture. Mr. Ketchum loves traveling, exploring different parts of New York State, and cooking new recipes for his wife and son.
