Brilla Veritas Middle School builds upon the progress made at Brilla Veritas Elementary – its feeder campus. We provide students with a rigorous curriculum based on the Next Generation Standards, and best practices learned from charter schools across the country.
Through our classical approach, students are exposed to a wide range of rich, authentic texts, allowing them to build upon the core knowledge developed in their primary years. In addition to the ELA block, students innovatively engage in literacy through humanities and science blocks as well.
At Brilla Veritas Middle, we believe that a joyful culture built upon positive relationships and strong character is essential in raising student outcomes. With this in mind, middle school students begin their days in Crew, where they can celebrate accomplishments, share news, review and set goals, and dive deeper into our character virtues. In all of our classrooms, including our fine and applied arts classes such as orchestra and physical education, students have daily opportunities to demonstrate these virtues and interact with peers in a positive, supportive environment.
