6th Grade Math Teacher
Gerald Dalmasi joined the Brilla team as a 6th grade Teacher in October 2023. Mr. Dalmasi graduated from University at Albany (SUNY) May of 2020, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and minored in Leadership. While at Albany, Mr. Dalmasi was able to obtain many different leadership roles like President of the largest cultural group on campus, Fuerza Latina, Coordinator of Fuerza Latina’s dance team, and Resident Assistant of Residential Life at SUNY Albany. After undergraduate school, Mr. Dalmasi was able to attend Relay Graduate school for a New York: Dual Certification (SPED): Adolescent (Grades 7-12) and Teaching Exceptional Learners/Middle Childhood Generalist (Grades 5-9). Mr. Dalmasi is originally from the Bronx, NY, but proudly raised by (then) immigrant parents from the Dominican Republic.
