
TEACHER
Nicholas “Nico” Silva joined the Brilla team as a Seton Teaching Fellow in 2020. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy and Theology from Thomas Aquinas College in Santa Paula, CA, and is currently taking a gap year from Chapman University School of Law to serve Brilla’s first grade scholars. Before working in education, Mr. Silva has been at various times a restaurant worker, a janitor, and an intern for both his County Supervisor and U.S. Congressman. He has also served at nursing homes in his community through the Legion of Mary and volunteers as an activist for electoral reform with Voters Choose. In his free time, Mr. Silva enjoys reading history books, writing poetry, and singing at his church.
