SOCIAL WORKER
Hilda Vasquez joined the Brilla team as a Social Worker in 2017. She graduated from Lehman College located in the Bronx, with a Bachelor’s in sociology and a minor in early childhood education. She later pursued her Master’s in Social Work at Lehman College. She is passionate about helping children grow socially and emotionally and loves advocating while also empowering children and their families. Mrs. Vasquez has a background in the NYC Early Intervention Program, where she worked for five years. Mrs. Vasquez discovered her passion for Social Work with a focus on supporting children and their families while working for The Early Intervention Program. She was born in the Dominican Republic and moved to New York City with her family at the age of seven. This was an impactful time in her life which led her to give back to a community that she strongly feels part of. She loves to explore her artistic side and enjoys painting. She is dedicated to raising her baby boy and loves to watch him grow. Mrs. Vasquez loves to spend quality time with her family and friends and enjoys to travel.
