SEVENTH GRADE ELA TEACHER
Stephen Weiss joined the Brilla team as a 7th grade teacher. He graduated from Rutgers University—New Brunswick in 2019 with degrees in philosophy and political science. During his time at Rutgers, Mr. Weiss was deeply invested in his role as a news and opinions editor at the school newspaper, The Daily Targum, and leveraged his position to advocate for social justice. In addition to being part of the Brilla team, Mr. Weiss is a 2019 Teach For America corps member. He is currently studying to get his master’s degree in teaching at Relay Graduate School of Education. Outside of work and education, Mr. Weiss likes to exercise, explore, and experience new things.
