Mr. Rios has been teaching since 2009 and is a founding member of the middle school team. He left a position in the District Attorney’s Office, here in the Bronx, to better serve the Bronx community and educate students through the NYC Teaching Fellows Program. Mr. Rios gained his degree in bilingual special education from City University of New York. Mr. Rios felt that his life changed for the better as an urban child of the Bronx during middle school. As a result, Mr. Rios has worked to help other students in the middle school setting find their path in life, in the hopes of leading them to a bright future. Mr. Rios has worked with all scholars, supporting them academically, emotionally and socially in any way possible. All the while Mr. Rios will make awesome anime and manga recommendations to scholars.
