Teresa Torres joined the Brilla team in 2019 as a second-grade teacher at Veritas and is now the founding student services coordinator at Caritas. She has a bachelor’s degree in childhood education from SUNY Old Westbury and a master’s degree in Special Education from Dowling College. Before Brilla, Ms. Torres taught kindergarten, second grade, and fifth grade for nine years at OLH in Southampton, NY. When Ms. Torres is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, visiting family members in Ireland and Puerto Rico, reading, swimming, and shopping!
