TEACHER

Jessica Racanelli joined the Brilla team as a teacher in 2022. Ms. Racanelli graduated from The College of New Rochelle in 2015 with a Dual Master in Childhood Education 1-6 General /SPED. She had previously worked in the DOE covering K-2 Science and the gifted and talented program. While working in the DOE, she worked for MMC facilitating the Science program K-5 after school and over the summer. She spent 7 years as a fourth-grade head teacher for the Archdiocese of NY. While teaching in the Archdiocese, she was an instructor for the Catapult Learning enrichment program. Reinforcing grade-level standards in ELA/Math for the after-school and summer program Grades 3-6. Ms. Racanelli is the first generation born in America, and the first in her family to graduate from college with a master’s. She was born and raised in the Bronx and loves to travel, spend time on the beach, read biographies, bake, cook, and spend quality family time.
