Bryann Simpson joined the Brilla team as a Kindergarten Teacher in 2020. She graduated from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 2018, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Global History and Pre-Law. Throughout her academic career, Ms. Simpson has developed a continuous passion for teaching and working with incarcerated youths. She has interned with The Children’s Village and the Brookwood Secure Center, advocating for higher education programs and reintegration reform. She is currently studying to get her Masters in Teaching at Hunter College. Ms. Simpson has been a pescatarian for 7 years. She enjoys sports, spending time with her family, playing the piano, and traveling!
