How to Apply

El Camino is offered as an optional afterschool program exclusively to students who attend Brilla Schools, a network of 8 FREE Elementary and Middle schools throughout Districts 7, 9, and 10 in The Bronx. Brilla Schools is accepting applications for the 2025-26 school year. Click below to learn more about the El Camino Program and Brilla Schools.

Once your child starts attending Brilla, you will have the option to enroll in El Camino on your campus. El Camino is held directly on each Brilla campus from 3:45-5:45 p.m. Monday through Thursday, with options for early dismissal. We also work with your parish, if you have one, to support sacrament preparation and more.

Do I need to transport my child between school and El Camino?

No, El Camino takes place right on Brilla’s campus. As long as you apply and enroll at Brilla, then your child has the option to attend El Camino.

Can my child attend any school and also attend El Camino?

El Camino is only available to children who attend Brilla as an optional after-school program. Brilla is a totally free, classically-inspired charter school that emphasizes virtue along with academics.

How much is El Camino?

There is a low-cost associated with your child attending El Camino, but scholarships are available if you’re concerned about the cost.

What if I already have a parish?

If you and your family already attend a parish, we work with them to help your child prepare for baptism, First Communion, and Confirmation.
