Tania Toussaint

From Monterrey, Mexico, Tania Toussaint came to the South Bronx to join the 2017-2018 Seton Teaching Fellows. She is an Operations Assistant at Brilla College Prep Elementary and leads a third grade religion class at the afterschool program, El Camino. She graduated from the University of San Diego with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, with a double minor in Leadership Studies and Political Science. Tania participated in the college program Semester at Sea, where she traveled and explored different countries, studying social and political injustice. Her curiosity and passion for change-making began, which lead her to the Seton Teaching Fellows program. During her free time, Tania enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, reading and playing with her dog, Coco!
