Teresa Blackman

Seton Teaching Fellow

“Every opportunity for performing any kind of charity is something to be snatched at.” - Flannery O’Connor

Full of love for both the Church and New York City, Teresa joined Seton Teaching Fellows in January 2017 to support the 4th grade class. She's now moved with them to middle school, where she assists with ELA at Brilla. Having attended three schools in their inaugural years, she’s excited to be part of the innovative work done at Brilla. Teresa is also a 5th grade catechist for El Camino catholic faith formation program and is excited to have the opportunity to share the beauty of the faith with others through El Camino. Teresa graduated from the University of Dallas with a bachelor’s degree in English and spent some time post-graduation volunteering in Mexico with her family.
